Collection of actions

new(name)

Add a new action to the main database

Parameters:

name (str) – New name for the data-block (never None)

Returns:

New action data-block

Return type:

remove(action, *, do_unlink=True, do_id_user=True, do_ui_user=True)

Remove an action from the current blendfile

Parameters:

  • action (Action) – Action to remove (never None)

  • do_unlink (bool) – Unlink all usages of this action before deleting it (optional)

  • do_id_user (bool) – Decrement user counter of all data-blocks used by this action (optional)

  • do_ui_user (bool) – Make sure interface does not reference this action (optional)
